Corrective Jaw Surgery and Jaw Reconstruction Boca Raton FL

Dr. Sultan performs jaw surgeries including Orthognathic Surgery also called Corrective Jaw Surgery, to realign the jaw, as well as Jaw Reconstruction to rebuild the jaw.

Orthognathic means “straight” jaws. Orthognathic  surgery is a procedure done to correct tooth position as well as correct jaw alignment. The goals of orthognathic surgery are to help correct problems associated with chewing, speech and breathing, and will improve each patient's appearance by balancing the jaw structures.

Jaw reconstruction is one of the most challenging tasks for Dr. Sultan as an  Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, to rebuild the severely deficient upper and lower jaw. This procedure may be necessary due to a variety of conditions such as aging or the removal of a cyst or tumor.
